They're still 4k less than equivalent 5-Series prices across the board. It also is much more dynamic, faster, and more efficient thanks to a lower curb weight. I don't understand why everyone and their mother is losing their mind over this. I think we just have a bunch of butthurt Badge-chasers afraid of what the next generation of status mongers will think of their leased BMWs and Mercs.

lets take the tuners approach.
on my V, a lower pulley, headers, xpipe and tune cost me $2k.
on my old m3, headers, section 1, and muffler cost me $6k.
domestic ftw.
